It’s the last Friday of the month! You know what that means? It’s time for all your need-to-know information about biker rallies in August. We want to give you plenty of time to plan your trip. August doesn’t feature as many biker rallies because of Sturgis. However, there are a couple others if you just can’t get to South Dakota. Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, Sturgis, SD, August 8-14, 2016 The world famous biker rally hosts its 76th annual event this year. The event page provides an ideal itinerary for scenic motorcycle rides in the Black Hills, complete with the best places to stop for meals. The Harley-Davidson Rally Point where all the best action happens is on Main Street. There’s great entertainment there such as Chris Duarte and Randy McAllister. There are also several other venues in Sturgis with biker games, contests, and amazing headliners. Be sure to see Kid Rock, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Miranda Lambert and more. Apple’s 13th Annual East Coast Motorcycle Rally, Little Orleans, MD, August 10-14, 2016 Can’t get to Sturgis? Head to the east coast for five days of biker fun. This event is located on Apple Mountain. There are two stages of concerts, and events such as applesauce wrestling. There are guided tours and poker runs, as well. Camping is free with admission, which is only $55 a day. They also partner with Sleep Inn, so be sure to mention the rally if you book there. WingDing 38, Billings, MT, August 31-September 3, 2016 Located right in the middle of great scenery and attractions, Billings is a perfect location for a biker rally. The WingDing has rider education classes and motorcycle technology seminars for those real motorcycle nerds. There’s also plenty of other entertainment, like poker runs, guided tours, and a motorcycle drill team. Check out the huge trade show to pick up some new goods. Billings features plenty of camping and hotels.
