Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association

Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association
Today is Memorial Day in the United States. Here at GothRider, we pay tribute to all the fallen soldiers who have died defending the U.S. Many of our followers, and many in the biker community at large, are veterans. Today we wanted to highlight a major nonprofit dedicated to helping veterans: the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association. The main mission of the CVMA is to support living combat veterans in any way possible. They raise funds for various facilities that provide food, clothing, healthcare, and support. There are chapters in nearly every state and even some abroad. Full membership is limited to combat veterans, but non-combat vets can become supporter members. The CVMA participates in many biker charity events and biker rides. They benefit living vets and current organizations. They also participate in many memorial runs. For instance, June 6th brings a D-Day?Anniversary Ride in Virginia. August 20th brings several memorials in various states: a memorial poker run, a POW/MIA ride, and North Carolina’s Ride to Remember. The national meeting is coming up June 22nd through June 25th in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Thanks for your service, veterans. We salute you.
