One of the most noteworthy things about riding a motorcycle is the up close and personal view of the surrounding landscape. Therefore, riding in the fall offers a stunning view of the vibrant fall foliage.
Here are a few places boasting gorgeous views of this change in season. Also, we’ve noted the best time during the season to go. THE CATSKILLS, NEW YORK
The prime time for fall foliage in the Catskills is the last two weeks in September through mid to late October. This area is known for hosting many festivals and craft fairs during this vibrant time in the fall.
ASPEN, COLORADO
You better hurry if you?re planning a ride to Aspen, Colorado to enjoy the colorful leaves before they fall. This season is short. It begins during mid-September and peaks at the end of the month.
GREEN MOUNTAIN BYWAY, VERMONT
This dazzling display of color in New England begins the second week of September and peaks the first week in October.
COLUMBIA RIVER GORGE, OREGON
When is the best time for viewing a breathtaking sight of firs, cottonwoods, big-maples, Oregon ash and twisted pines? Mid-September to mid-October. If you?re looking to extend your trip, plan time for hiking, rafting or kayaking.
